Boom Truck Delivery Driver

Summary:

The Boom Truck Delivery Driver, who must have a CDL A license will be responsible for delivering concrete block, landscape material and construction supplies in a safe and timely manor.

Production Worker

Summary:

Operate production forklift inside and outside of production plant. Operate concrete block cubing machine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Must be able to transport racks of green and cured concrete products to and from kilns at a pace set by machine operator with 

          extreme care

•   Operate cubing equipment, start and stop block machine, help inspect products being made and cubed and report any malfunctions    or quality problems to machine operator
•   Know kiln order and products, remove cubes from full cube conveyor or inside
•   Work closely with machine operator to help change molds and take instruction from machine operator on what needs to be done
•   Learn plant products and locations
•   Help in yard with forklift skills to load trucks and customers when needed
•   Be part of the quality control team, willing to help in any area, and do other duties that are asked of them

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•   Know safe forklift operation—operate a lift truck without damage to equipment or products
•   Must pass forklift training program provided by WWT
•   Must be able to work with other plant personnel
•   Must have ability to service the forklift for the day’s operations and report any problems to the machine operator or supervisor

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

•   Must keep work area clean and other in-plant related duties under direction of machine operator
•   Lift up to a 100 pounds
•   Hard hat, ear plugs, steel toed boots, and safety glasses must be worn at all times when on and off the forklift.
•   Work is preformed in production plant and in the yard

Concrete Block Machine Operator

Full job description

•   Know dimensions and quality needs for all concrete products we produce
•   Must monitor all aspects of block production, aggregates, mixing and mix designs, setting up bock machine, handling to and from 

          kilns, unloading de-palletor, turnover, splitter and cuber

•   Operate all machinery in plant
•   Must be able to troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical problems and take appropriate and safe repair measures to correct

          them

•   Communicate problems to supervisor so repairs can be accomplished within a minimum of production down time
•   Must have good knowledge and be able to use hand tools, welder, and have torch cutting skills
